
CAPE TOWN — World Rugby has officially released the full schedule for the 2026/27 HSBC SVNS Series and World Championship, confirming the return of the iconic Cape Town Sevens to Cape Town Stadium on 5–6 December 2026.
Following a record-breaking 2026 campaign that drew over 530,000 stadium spectators worldwide and surpassed one billion social media impressions, all host destinations are returning as the series builds momentum toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
South Africa’s Blitzboks enter the new campaign riding high as double crown holders after sweeping both the HSBC SVNS Regular Season title in New York and the World Championship crown in Bordeaux.
2026/27 HSBC SVNS Regular Season Schedule
The regular season visits six global cities before leading into the three-stage World Championship series:
