Kaizer Chiefs are pushing to finalize a season-long loan deal with an option to buy for Stellenbosch FC‘s 21-year-old versatile attacker Faiz Abrahams.
With Stellies recently bolstering their frontline by acquiring Ashley du Preez from Chiefs and adding veteran striker Bradley Grobler, Abrahams faces limited first-team minutes in the Cape Winelands. Amakhosi management has seized the opportunity to add depth to Fernando Da Cruz’s attacking rotation.
