
Mamelodi Sundowns fought back late to secure a 1-1 draw against Chippa United, with a stoppage-time equaliser ensuring the Brazilians left with a valuable point on the road.
Chippa United looked set to claim all three points after Kammies found the breakthrough in the 78th minute, putting the home side ahead with just over 10 minutes remaining.
Sundowns refused to give up, however, and continued pushing for a way back into the contest.
Their persistence finally paid off in the 94th minute, when Van Wyk found the equaliser to rescue a point for the visitors and deny Chippa what would have been an impressive home victory.

The late goal demonstrated Sundowns’ determination to avoid defeat, although the champions will know there is plenty to improve on after being held for long periods.
For Chippa United, the result will be particularly frustrating. They were only minutes away from securing a memorable victory before Sundowns struck deep into stoppage time.
