The Peelton-born rapper has unveiled the cover art for his new single with Emtee, produced by Young2unnBeats, though a release date is yet to be confirmed.
Flash Ikumkani is back with new music, and he has called in Emtee to help. On Thursday, the rapper, whose real name is Hlumile Mangoloti, shared the official artwork for “Badman” on Instagram, giving fans their first look at the collaboration.
The artwork
The cover shows Flash and Emtee in a dramatic face-off against a red city backdrop, with the song title front and centre and Pika Records branding alongside it. Flash posted it through Pika Records with a short caption announcing the single and crediting Young2unnBeats as producer.
A trio with history
This is not the first time the three have worked together. Their previous collaboration, “Mama,” went on to pass a million streams, and they have recently teased studio sessions, which has added to the buzz around “Badman.” The reunion also follows the pair squashing their long-running beef earlier this year.
Where Flash is at
The single arrives as Flash continues his run with Pika Records, following his 2025 album Die Hard. He is known for weaving isiXhosa storytelling, cultural references and street-focused narratives into his music, and continues to build his identity in South African hip hop.
What’s next
An official release date for “Badman” has not been announced.
