The wait is almost over for the Green and Gold faithful. Rassie Erasmus and his world-champion Springboks are gearing up for a blockbuster 2026 season that promises high-stakes drama, a brand-new rivalry series, and a global tour.
The action begins in late June with a tradition-building “warm-up” against the legendary Barbarians in Gqeberha, serving as the launchpad for a year that sees the Boks facing every Six Nations opponent and a historic four-match series against their greatest foes.
The Highlight: “Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry”
This year introduces a new quadrennial tradition: a four-Test showdown against the All Blacks. The series will conclude with a historic match on American soil at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, bringing one of sport’s most intense rivalries to a new frontier.
