Johannesburg’s premier aerial and circus arts venue, The Cirk, is hosting its acclaimed original production, Worlds Away: A Journey to Circusland, running from Saturday, 1 August to Sunday, 16 August 2026 at Cresta Shopping Centre.
Originally created in 2020 by director Joanna Pawelczyk, the production has evolved into a powerhouse theatrical circus experience. The story follows a brave little star on an emotional quest across enchanted lands, turbulent oceans, and fiery fortresses to rediscover his lost sparkle.
Blending heart-pounding physical feats with narrative storytelling, Worlds Away delivers a heart-warming exploration of courage, self-discovery, and belonging for audiences of all ages.
