SA Rugby and Nike have officially released the new special-edition Springbok jersey, designed exclusively for the historic Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Tour against the All Blacks.
The new kit officially hit shelves on Thursday, 6 August 2026, available via Nike retail stores, Nike.com, and official Springbok online outlets.
“Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika”: The Story Behind the Design
Created to be worn exclusively across the four upcoming Test matches against New Zealand, the design integrates South Africa’s national identity directly into the fabric:
- Anthem Graphic: Features a subtle tone-on-tone graphic of the full Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika lyrics, arranged in the shape of the South African flag.
- Multilingual Unity: Includes all five official anthem languages—Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Afrikaans, and English—symbolizing the unity of South Africa’s diverse communities on the players’ chests.
