Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Thapelo Maseko appears to have made his position clear: he wants to leave the club despite coach Miguel Cardoso being open to keeping him at Chloorkop.
The Bafana Bafana international has returned to Sundowns following a season-long loan spell at AEL Limassol in Cyprus, but his future with the reigning South African giants remains uncertain.
Cardoso has now revealed that he spoke directly with Maseko about his plans and established that the player would prefer to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.
