The Miss South Africa Organisation has revealed its official Top 24 finalists for 2026. Meet the doctors, lawyers, pilots, and engineers competing for the crown.

The Miss South Africa Organisation has officially pulled back the curtain on its Top 24 finalists for 2026, marking the dawn of a highly anticipated “New Era.”

Moving far beyond traditional beauty metrics, this year’s cohort represents a powerhouse pipeline of leadership, multi-disciplinary expertise, and social change. The selected contestants—ranging from medical doctors and machine learning engineers to pilots and archaeologists—are challenged to champion national development through Empower Youth Africa (EYA), the pageant’s flagship social impact framework.

These change-makers are spearheading major initiatives across five crucial pillars: educational access, mental health, healthcare infrastructure, social entrepreneurship, and Pan-African trade and collaboration. The final winner will take over the crown from reigning queen Qhawekazi Mazaleni, the speech-language therapist from the Eastern Cape who captivated the country in 2025.
